Ben Franklin Press, Inc. located in Tempe, Arizona celebrates its new
arrival. They recently installed an MBO T-800 6/4/4 continuous feed
perfection buckle folder, equipped with six plate capability and pressing
signature stacker. Founded in 1956, Ben Franklin Press has relied on the
proven performance and reliability of the MBO folder line for many years.
The perfection machine delivers the speed and quality their customers have

Central Bindery recently installed a new 45" SABER programmable paper cutter featuring a double arm pull and high speed backgauge. "The new Saber has significantly increased Central Bindery's cutting quality and output," says general manager Tim Ingersoll. Central Bindery was purchased in 1984 by Andy Delph and is Arizona's largest bindery, employing 75 people. Services include perfect binding, saddle stitching, wire-o, high speed die cutting, foil stamping, glueing and many other services. Complete Bindery and Mailing, Inc. of Arizona has been running MBO folders
for over 20 years. There were no questions on which machine to purchase
when it came time to adding another folding machine. The installation of a
new MBO B-26 4/4 continuous feed folder will now allow them to better meet

Good Impressions Printing of Tempe, Arizona recently installed a revolutionary new concept in saddle-stitching technology: Standard Stitchliner with 3 Knife Trimmer. Their productitivity and versatility continued to grow and they needed a solution for 10 booklets, 1000 booklets, or 10,000+ booklets. Haig's Quality Printing located in Las Vegas, Nevada was faced with folding five million pieces in a twenty five day window. Their solution was a new MBO B-30 4/4 Continuous Feed Buckle Folder. "The folder never stopped running after it hit our floor. We were actually early on meeting our commitment to our customer" stated owner Haig Atamian. Haig's Quality Printing offers heat set web, conventional offset with in-line U.V. and digital printing to their customers. Impression Makers discovered the ease of producing business cards with the addition of their new B&N Business Card Slitter. This machine provides clean and accurate cutting on digital and conventional printed business cards with or without gutters. In addition to this machine, Impression Makers just completed a new move to 1505 E. 10th Place in Tempe, Arizona where they have also installed an Indigo 5000 Digital Press, a FMA UV Coating Machine, a Morgana Creasing Machine and much more.

Mailing has become a great avenue for advertising and The Mailing Company continues to meet the challenges of growth since 1995. They have recently added their new SECAP mailing system that features continuous load feeder, inline tabbers capable of affixing wafer tabs or post-it notes and then ink jetting variable data, names, addresses and promotional messages. Serving the Tucson, Arizona market since 1993, Tucson Die recently installed
a new FMA 32" wide roller coater with air removal for thin substrates.
After extensive research, owner Steven O'Brien choose the FMA machine based
on the quality of the U.V. it provided. This addition compliments their

Celebrating their latest acquisition, Typography Unlimited, Inc. (Phoenix, Az.) recently installed a new Morgana Digifold. Specializing in Digital Printing, TUI faced common challenges with folding and cracking inherent with digital media. Their solution - a machine that provides a letterpress type score along with seven types of folds, all with automatic make ready. Prisma Graphic, a 100 employees plus commercial printer in Phoenix, Arizona, recently added a 38" 5C Heatset Web
to compliment their Sheetfed and Open Web presses. Steve Carlson, Operations Manager, knew that it would be necessary
to increase bindery productivity without major impact on the cost of operations. Their solution was to add a new 54"
SABER Cutter and two new Baumann Jogging stations with auto-lift to keep pace with production schedules.
Amazing Mail of Scottsdale, Arizona has multiple size changes each day and they wanted a folder with automation.
Darren Anderson went shopping for what would best fit their requirements at the PRINT '05 in Chicago. After checking
out everyone, they selected the Standard Horizon 544 AKT folder for its automation and folding capabilities.

Recently, Modern Age received a new contract that required a high-speed sheet collator that would stitch/fold and trim without being a space hog!
After a demonstration on a new STANDARD HORIZON VAC 100 System, and a few competitive systems, Mike made the decision to go with the STANDARD HORIZON VAC 100 System, as have many other companies in Arizona and southern Nevada.
